Our standard service includes all the safety and function checks required to make sure your appliance is working safely and efficiently. Our engineers will also check your central heating and bleed your radiators.

If our expert engineers find further work or parts are required a fixed price quote for this work will be issued.

Sometimes for your boiler warranty to remain valid a manufacturer specific service schedule needs to be followed. This will mean we may have to charge for any parts that are recommended for replacement such as gaskets and seals

Once your boiler service has been completed a detailed safety report will be sent to you along with pictures of the work we carried out.

What happens on a boiler service?.

When you book your boiler service you will be sent a booking confirmation along with a booking reminder the day before your visit. Our engineer will then call you when they are on their way.

You can carry on using your boiler and central heating as you normally would before we arrive.

Our engineer will ask you if you have had any faults with your boiler or central heating.

We will then protect our work area with dust sheets and notify you of any hazards.

A range of safety and function checks will be carried out and our engineer will access the general condition of your boiler. If any further work is required our engineer will discuss this with you.

The recordings and findings will be added to a service report form along with photos of the work carried out, a digital copy of this will then be sent to you.

A invoice will then be issued and our engineer will collect payment via card payment.

What will my condition report show?

The report will highlight any issues or potential issues that could cause your boiler problems.

The most common recommendations are boiler electrode replacement and gasket replacements due to wear or age.

A electrode is the component that lights the gas a bit like a spark plug on a car, and just like a spark plug they will eventually need replacing.

A boiler electrode also senses the gas has been lit, a poor condition electrode is a common reason for boiler breakdowns so it is a major check point on our services.
